Dr. Dianna Ovbey

Dr. Dianna Ovbey is an an experienced board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist who provides on site anesthesiology care to our high risk patients. She is the only board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist in the state of South Carolina. Dr. Ovbey’s focus is on the safe administration of anesthesia and appropriate pain management for pets. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, her Masters of Science degree from Michigan State University, and completed her anesthesia residency at Michigan State University. She has worked with specialists in many fields including surgery, dentistry, radiation oncology, internal medicine, and emergency/critical care.

Safe Pet Anesthesia is a tele-anesthesia team that provides remote anesthesia services for our patients. Safe Pet follows the entire case in real time — from induction to recovery — via secure video call. With flexible camera views, Safe Pet is able to follow vital parameters continuously and observe the patient directly. They give HVDOS live oversight, answering questions instantly, and ensuring safe, seamless care every step of the way.
Dr. Cindy Bell
DVM, Diplomate ACVP
Dr. Bell is an oral histopathologist. She is the owner and principle pathologist for Specialty Oral Pathology for Animals (SOPA) in Geneseo, IL, USA where she is able to dedicate her diagnostic pathology practice exclusively to veterinary dental and oral pathology cases. She uses case material for teaching and research, having authored dozens of papers in international peer reviewed journals. Cindy is an advocate for specialized pathology, supports the Veterinary Dental Foundation, and is passionate about the importance of clinical-pathological correlation for better patient outcomes.
