Sandy Conner, LVT, VTS (Clinical Practice – C/F)
Hospital administrator for The Hospital For Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery, The Veterinary Education Center, and The Carolinas Animal Hospital & Dental Clinic, PA

Sandy has worked in multiple capacities within the veterinary field since 2002. She received a degree in Veterinary Technology from Florida’s St. Petersburg College in 2007 followed by a year-long technician Internship at the esteemed Animal Medical Center in NYC in 2008.  Sandy attained certification as a Veterinary Technician Specialist in the category of Clinical Practice-Small Animals in 2016 and is also certified in cardiac ultrasonography through Oncura Partners, Inc.  When not focused on the business aspects of our facilities, Sandy likes to share her experiences and knowledge with our technical staff and veterinary community through lectures on the topics of anesthesia and pain management.  She is a member of the Academy of Veterinary Technicians in Clinical Practice, The Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society, The International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, and the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association.  When not learning something new and exciting taking place in the field of veterinary medicine, Sandy likes to write short stories, go backpacking, kayaking, and dabble in gourmet mushroom cultivation.


Suzanne Edwards, LVT
Hospital Manager for The Hospital For Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery

Suzanne has been working in the veterinary field since she was in high school.  She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Technology in 2005 from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She has worked in various aspect of veterinary medicine, including general practice, emergency, neurology and dermatology, before finding her true calling in dentistry.  She has worked in veterinary dentistry for over 5 years and is currently in the process of obtaining her technician specialty in dentistry.  She lives in Matthews, NC with her husband, David and her cat, Cookie Monster.

Christian Francis, RVT, Lead Technician

Christian, a North Carolina native from Lexington, NC, is a registered veterinary technician with a passion for veterinary dentistry. After working in small animal general practice for the majority of her career, she is proud to be a member of The Hospital for Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery team, focusing solely on the oral care of pets. Christian is currently a mentee to the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians, class of 2017, pursuing her veterinary technician specialty in dentistry. In her free time, Christian enjoys traveling, reading and cheering on the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, and the North Carolina Tar Heels. Christian and her husband Kevan share their Charlotte home with three little dogs, Max, a Pekingese, Gilbert, a Toy Poodle, and Gus, a Chihuahua.

Josh Jerreld, RVT, Dental Technician

Josh graduated from SUNY Canton in 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Science Technology.  He worked in small animal general practice before finding his passion for dentistry in 2016.  Josh is trained in complimentary therapeutic techniques, such as laser therapy,  and has an interest in how complimentary medicine can benefit dental patients.  When not at work, Josh likes to race cars and plays multiple musical instruments.


Victor Benitez, Dentistry Assistant

Victor has been working with Dr. Queck since 2003. He is passionate about caring for animals and loves taking care of his patients. When not at work, Victor is spending time with his family and 3 year old Shih tzu – Hobo. He enjoys being outdoors, and especially loves the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where he likes to ride his motorcycle.

Marcia Noles, Executive Assistant

Since January 2016 Marcia’s new found joy, after working in the insurance industry for many years, is working with pet owners and their 4 legged babies. Marcia loves being a part of the hospital and can always be seen with a cheerful smile. She is the proud mother of 3 children, Travis, Nicole and Tyler and delighted grandmother of 2 beautiful granddaughters, Harlie and Emma. She also shares her home with 3 dogs, Luna, Dren, Sarge , and 1 cat, BooBoo!

Ann Reeves, Referral Coordinator

Ann Reeves has worked with Dr. Queck in a variety of roles beginning at The Carolinas Animal Hospital & Dental Clinic. Ann joined the Hospital for Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery upon opening in Sept. 2016. Ann is a graduate of Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management Information Systems. She had a previous career working in the banking credit industry on enterprise systems. Ann enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and finds a great deal of satisfaction & joy seeing the difference our care provides to our patients and their families. Ann has a rabbit and a cat at home and lives with a dog in the house as well. She has been a Charlotte area resident since 1994 and continues to find new interesting things to do in the greater Charlotte metro area. Genealogy, music, and theater are some of her side interests.
