Suzanne Edwards, LVT
Hospital Manager for The Hospital For Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery

Suzanne has been working in the veterinary field since she was in high school.  She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Technology in 2005 from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She has worked in various aspect of veterinary medicine, including general practice, emergency, neurology and dermatology, before finding her true calling in dentistry.  She has worked in veterinary dentistry for over 5 years and is currently in the process of obtaining her technician specialty in dentistry.  She lives in Matthews, NC with her husband, David and her cat, Cookie Monster.

Christian Francis, RVT, Lead Technician

Christian, a North Carolina native from Lexington, NC, is a registered veterinary technician with a passion for veterinary dentistry. After working in small animal general practice for the majority of her career, she is proud to be a member of The Hospital for Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery team, focusing solely on the oral care of pets. Christian is currently a mentee to the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians, class of 2017, pursuing her veterinary technician specialty in dentistry. In her free time, Christian enjoys traveling, reading and cheering on the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, and the North Carolina Tar Heels. Christian and her husband Kevan share their Charlotte home with three little dogs, Max, a Pekingese, Gilbert, a Toy Poodle, and Gus, a Chihuahua.

Marcia Noles, Executive Assistant

Since January 2016 Marcia’s new found joy, after working in the insurance industry for many years, is working with pet owners and their 4 legged babies. Marcia loves being a part of the hospital and can always be seen with a cheerful smile. She is the proud mother of 3 children, Travis, Nicole and Tyler and delighted grandmother of 2 beautiful granddaughters, Harlie and Emma. She also shares her home with 3 dogs, Luna, Dren, Sarge , and 1 cat, BooBoo!

Ann Reeves, Referral Coordinator

Ann Reeves has worked with Dr. Queck in a variety of roles beginning at The Carolinas Animal Hospital & Dental Clinic. Ann joined the Hospital for Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery upon opening in Sept. 2016. Ann is a graduate of Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management Information Systems. She had a previous career working in the banking credit industry on enterprise systems. Ann enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and finds a great deal of satisfaction & joy seeing the difference our care provides to our patients and their families. Ann has a rabbit and a cat at home and lives with a dog in the house as well. She has been a Charlotte area resident since 1994 and continues to find new interesting things to do in the greater Charlotte metro area. Genealogy, music, and theater are some of her side interests.

Emily Worsham - Client Services

Emily started her career in veterinary medicine in 2013. She has truly found her calling in this field of medicine. When you come to HVDOS, Emily is always there to greet you with a big smile and make you feel right at home!  She is often found giving our patients pats and cuddles so that they have a great dentistry experience from the moment they walk in the door!

Emily enjoys all aspects of veterinary dentistry and animal care, but her favorites include, taking care of our pet parents, making sure that their special family members are receiving the best care, and assisting during procedures.  She is a North Carolina native and currently resides in the Lake Norman area. Emily has 2 pets of her own, Maya the Pit Bull Terrier and Kittles the black cat. In her free time Emily enjoys going on adventures with Maya, hanging out at the lake and exploring new cities.

Caryn Maslanek - Veterinary Assistant

Caryn moved to the Charlotte area from Pennsylvania in the summer of 2017. She has been in the veterinary field for 20 years and has experience working in general, emergency, and specialty hospitals. This wealth of experience has enabled her to provide specialized care to our furry friends. She is very excited to bring her experience and dedication to the team at HVDOS and can be found making sure they are comfortable, safe, and stress free during their stay with us. She has 1 cat, Pedros and a Shih Tuz poodle, Pippin. Caryn enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, and of course her four-legged fur babies!
